The best school cricket award in Uva went to Bandarawela

The 45th Varna Pradana Award Ceremony organized by the Sri Lanka Cricket and School Cricket Federation was held on 17/10/2023 at BMICH Premises

Senior cricketer Muttiyah Muralitharan participated as the chief guest, and a large number of people including Sri Lanka Cricket President Shammi Silva participated to the award ceremony where Bandarawela Central College team was named as the best cricket team in Uva Province for the year 2022/2023 . The cricket team of Bandarawela Central College was awarded a cash price of one hundred thousand rupees and they received certificates and appreciation awards.
