The Bandarawela Central College cricket team managed to win the 17th battle of the golds Uva held between Bandarawela Central College and Bandarawela St. Joseph’s College after eleven years. 

Thank you to the Principal of Bandarawela Central College  Mr. Sarath Bandu Gunasekara,Vice Principal Board and the entire teaching staff as well as the Non-Academic staff. We would like to thank the past students Association of Bandarawela Madhya Maha Vidyalaya and appreciate their support and help. Thanks to all the teachers and coaches including Mr. Shanta Bandara, the head of sports department of the college, as well as to the parents who sent their children to play cricket.  

Thanks a lot to our college’s Prefects’ Union and everyone else who came to watch the match and encouraged the team. Thanks to Mr. Inusha De Silva, Cricket Coach of Bandarawela Central College and Mr. Y.M. Amit Chaturanga, who created a very talented team. 

Thanks a lot to Bandarawela St. Joseph’s College past students Association and the entire teaching staff including the Principal, their sports department and the school community for hosting this competition. Special thanks to the captain of Bandarawela St. Joseph’s College cricket team captain Yasiru Ruvantha, to the cricket master in charge and coach who showed everyone the enjoyment of cricket by giving a very sharp competition.
